Murder of the Innocent and the Judgement of God

Definition of Terms
Abortion
Abortion is defined as the killing of an innocent child while he/she is still in their mother’s womb. This practice is often done in the guise of human rights or women’s rights. Abortion has been allowed by various people groups in various stages of the child’s development.
This term is redefined by those in the activist community as the termination of an unwanted pregnancy, however this definition does not do justice to the act that is taking place against the child.
Fetus
Fetus is a term used for an unborn child still in their mother’s womb. In order to justify and appease their own conscience, people will often associate a target with a new definition or term to make it appear as if what they are doing is morally acceptable. This is what happened in Nazi Germany when Hitler tried to redefine the Jewish people as sub human.
If you can get society to redefine or think of something different then what it is, like the Bible says calling evil good and good evil (Isa 5.20), you can change that societies behavior towards your target. Through constant pressure and influence, the world and the Devil can get people to change their mind or justify just anything. This is why the Bible warns us about searing out conscience, resulting in not being able to feel guilty or bad about some immoral act (1 Tim 4.2). You can make an appeal for people to willingly go against their own moral conscience by convincing them to willfully believing a lie to satisfy a human sinful desire (Rom 1.28).
Many seek to justify the crime of killing an innocent baby by calling it a fetus, using the term to make the child appear to be sub human so that it can be treated as such. If you can convince someone that it’s not a baby or is less than human or undeserving of life, you can convince them to give up or compromise their morals on murdering it.
Baby
A Baby is a human child, regardless of location, or still in the womb. Abortion activists will say that a baby in the womb is just a clump of cells or call it some other derogatory remark. With this mentality, all people are clumps of cells, beautifully arranged by God for we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Ps 139.14). God tell us that before I formed you in the womb, I knew you (Jer 1.5). Life and the creation of a child begins at conception, and it is the duty of every person to protect innocent life no matter how fragile. That life is made in the image of the divine creator and is precious to Him.
If someone is handicapped, we make special provision for them, why because we want to help those in need. It is built into our morality to help those in need, and it should be the same for the most innocent of people still developing inside of their mother. We don’t kill/ abort someone because they are injured or have a special need, we find a way to provide for their needs. We do to them as we would want others to do for us, as Jesus taught us.
Statistics on Abortion

Since abortion was been legalized in America in 1973, there have been over 40 million abortions in the U.S. alone.
Over 90% of women say they received an abortion because they believe they could not afford the child or where not ready for the responsibility. Less than 5% of pregnancies where even terminated for medical reasons. In 2017 roughly one in four pregnancies where terminated by pregnant mothers.
These statistics and research reveal that a staggering number of pregnancies come from sexual explicit lifestyles from people that don’t have a sense of responsibility or stable relationship in the first place. This is the reason why God created the sanctity of marriage as the foundation for children so that this kind of result would never happen in society. So that intimacy and sex could be expressed properly in the confines of marriage and that children would be raised in a loving home.
When a society casts aside Gods created institutions, we have cultural lawlessness that creates these kinds of results.
Human Rights
Abortion activists who have compromised their conscience to believe it is acceptable to murder the innocent justify their actions by calling abortion a human right. These claims are often cited by feminists who seek to nullify the consequence of riotous and sexually immoral lifestyles of being sexually active with multiple partners. A social construct that opposes Gods original plan for marriage and family, one man and one woman being faithful to each other for their entire lives.
God has indeed sanctified certain rights, our morality bears witness to this as we have ingrained in our conscience the understanding that murder is morally wrong. One of the primary rights God instituted to humanity is the right to life, a right that is being desecrated by those killing the innocent. Only God has the wisdom and right to give and take life form a person (Deut 32.39). Divine moral rights are instituted by God. The moment we disband from that truth, humanity slides into a relativistic thinking that has no real definition of morality.
If morality was defined by people, who can really say what is right or wrong. Who determines what is right or wrong. Any evil immoral person could rise up and corrupt the majority rule of a nation, making the most heinous act a new social moral law.
If divine law does not rule, humanity will simple do whatever is right in his own eyes (Deut 12.8). From that point morality continues to slide further from Gods law. This is exactly what we see happen in any country that departs from the one true God.
History of Abortion in the U.S
Abortion was thought to be practices in North America since the 1600, although not always safely or legally. It was not until 1860 that the Unites States passed anti-abortion laws and in 1910 abortion was banned nationwide. In the 1960, abortion law began to reform, and 11 states relaxed their laws. On January 22, 1973, the Roe vs. Wade act in the Supreme Court established abortion as a constitutional right based on the 14th amendment, the right to privacy.
Based on that notion the Supreme Court stated that no state or government entity may advocate for the decision whether or not a woman should abort a child, they decided that determination should be between her and her doctor. On June 24th, 2022, the Supreme Court reversed its decision on Roe v. Wade and now it is up to each individual state to pass its own laws on abortion.
Satisfaction of a Sinful Desire
God created people with desires that were meant to be fulfilled His way. When we seek to go outside of Gods design, we sin and have to face the consequence for those decisions. Those decisions cause us and others to suffer in this world. The desire for sexual satisfaction was created for us to enjoy with the one partner we marry and live the rest of our lives in fulfillment with. When we live a lifestyle of sexual immorality, we will face the consequence of those decisions and that is what is causing the abortion or murder epidemic we have had in our country.
Until our generation learns to trust God completely even with our created desires for intimacy, we will continue to face the consequence of sexual immorality.
Judgement for Murdering the Innocent
God judged the ancient kingdoms of the world that performed similar practices. Various tribes in Canaan and throughout Mesopotamia sacrificed their young and new born children to their gods for power or position or blessings from their gods. In similar fashion those who receive abortions do so to appease their lifestyle of pleasure. They kill their babies because they believe their offspring is a curse to their life. They do not believe in God’s plan or created institution for marriage and of family so they turn to a life of promiscuous living. Promiscuous and immoral lifestyles are the main reason for unwanted pregnancies which result in abortions.
Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. – Deut 18.12
Many people will accuse God of being mean and unjust in the Old Testament, without understand how merciful He was giving every nation time to repent (Jer 18.8) of their evil deeds. However God will justly deal with every nation that disobeys His commands and will eventually destroy them. This is truly just and an act of mercy, as a nation falls further from God they become so deprave it become little more than a picture of hell on earth. Over time people become so depravate and immoral that they serve demons and live only to destroy each other (Deut 32.16) even their own children.
Archaeology has uncovered many children and babies that were burned and sacrificed in the ancient cities of these Canaanites and other Mesopotamian groups. The judgement for these people was just and due.
