INVESTIGATIONS – Secret Societies
Secret Societies are organizations or groups of people that conceal specific aspects of their activities, events, functions or information from non-members, or other, lower members. Many Secret Societies have been known to attempt to conceal their existence from those outside their organization.
There is a broad range of different groups identified as Secret Societies, and the criteria for being labeled as such is relative to different individuals, however it always denotes or implies a specific amount of secrecy concerning their activities.
Secret Societies have existed almost as far back as the earliest human history. Early cultures had different group of individuals that banned together for specific motives to benefit their group or family. These groups devises conspiracies for domination or control over other people or domination of property. They devise promises for security among their members or a way to communicate or pass on specific information only to ‘qualified’ members. From ancient Egypt to ancient India and beyond, Secret Societies like the ‘cult of the king,’ held ritualistic beliefs often tied in with religious or cultural beliefs, often carried on for generations after. These groups are often regarded today as cults of the ancient past.
Secret Societies have held prominence in political and educational arena. Often times it is the members of these groups that begin revolutions or activist movements to create a momentous change in society or seek to influence the culture. Secret Societies are vent outlaws in some countries, such as Poland, secret political parties and organizations are specifically banned.
SECRET SOCIETY AGENDAS
Within each of the Secret Societies articles we will explore the theoretical agendas as described by critics of each organization. Additionally, we will explore any evidence that leads us to a more accurate conclusion in favor of the organization or data that does indeed prove its critics correct.
As with any controversial topic, Secret Societies can easily become the target or blame child by any critic of the organization. This does not however mean that evidence against an organization should be dismissed, as those in influential positions could sway the opinions of others in order to keep prying eyes distracted and always second guessing.
As with any claim, evidence needs to be carefully examined to determine the true agenda of an organization. As with any business or organization, the agenda of its leadership do not always match with the ideas of its members or people, and often times we find that some places of business often extort its people for higher gain. This is why for those whom are involved in organizations that pose similar functions, it is critically important for its members to do their homework, and sometimes take the testimonies of former members seriously.
